only you can answer that question. Aside from his good looks, you have to ask yourself, " is he worth it?" Would he put you before the gang? Would he leave if you asked him. If anyone says leave him, who will be there to hold you when you need it at the end of the day? If anyone tells you to stay, what happens when a tragedy occurs or if the relationship goes no where? Years of your life wasted. You fell in love with a "gangster", no one thrust him on you. You have to decide.

You need to think better of yourself. You can fall in love with anyone you choose to, so choose wisely.
If price wasn't an issue, would you buy a house for your family in a really dangerous neighborhood just because it was cute and really nice? Of course not, there are plenty of nice houses in safe neighborhoods.
I'm not saying it'll be easy now, but your life (and the lives of your future kids, if that's what you want someday) will be a thousand times easier in the long run, if you make wise choices in who you go out with now.
Also, don't make the same mistake that so many people make. Don't think that just because you love him, that you have an obligation to stay with him, or "save" him. It will only lead to bigger problems, I promise. You sound like you're very young, and these years are for learning, not commiting. When you are old enough, and you have found a real great guy, then it's the time to stick it out.

No, you do not need to be with anyone who is a member of a gang. You could very well get injured or worst case scenario killed dealing with ANYONE who is involved in gang activity. It does not matter how cute he is and I have doubts about him being a "great guy" if he is a gangster. Start looking for a new boyfriend, girl.
