I'm looking for the name of this sewing. It's like quilting but they are only 2 inch in diameter circles sewn together by the edge of 4 equally spaced sides and put together like a lacy patched quilt work. I hope this made any sense to some of you. The "circles" are multi-coloured and once put together it has a vintage-like appearance.

If you know the name of this craft, please let me know and also tell me where on the web I can learn how to make them.

I think you are talking about a yo-yo quilt. If you go to google.com or ask.com and type in yo-yo quilts in either/both the web search or the image search, you'll get thousands of hits.

crocheting ....you mean like making an afghan blanket ??
circles all sewn together on edges into a rectangle to make a blanket

It may be called English paper piecing or maybe a "peek - a-boo quilt".
