Hi, The best thing to do is find another friend. She is NO friend if she does this. Start socializing with others and try not to be around her. She is toxic to you and exactly what is happening to you is the result. She will lower your self esteem and ruin your self confidence. Remind yourself that what she is saying and doing is not the truth and she is not a friend. Surround yourself with positive, content, and happy people.

if you want to keep your friendship with her, next time she says something that puts you down, tell her to keep her opinions to herself...if she doesn't stop then, make her feel just as bad by replying, "you think? I think I look good, but, you should go look in the mirror!" if you shoot her confidence down after her remarks, she will stop making you feel so bad, because once you point out her flaws, hers are all she'll see. when a girl is jealous of another girl, she will say things to put you down because she isn't confident in herself..I know, I have a friend who does the same thing, she always puts herself in competition with me, and I don't let it get to me

She's not your friend if she acts that way toward you. As much as you may care for her, you're better off without her. Maybe if you stop clinging to someone who obviously doesn't think of you as a friend you'll be able to find a real best friend.

First of all, real friends do not want to see their friends hurt. Friends help one another and respect each other. She is not your friend purposely hurting you like that. I know you may love her and you may still want to continue being her friend but just like things happen for a reason people come in and out our lives for reasons also and it's to teach us something.

You need to find a "best" friend and leave this "associate" to her problems. Usually, I would say help them to help themselves but when their actions/goal is to tear you down you need to leave them to keep yourself in tact.

If what she says make you lose your confidence, then it's very important you stop being her friend.
