The address bar is the long white box at the top of the Internet Explorer window. On this page it will have an address in it that starts http://answers.yahoo.com....
Just erase what's in there now, type the address/URL that you want to go to, and hit the Enter key on the keyboard.

Your address bar is under your back, forward, delete, home, search, favorites etc keys. If you don't have one you can add it, go to view on the top of your screen, then click on tool bars and it will arrow over to address bar.

hover your mouse over the link, but look at the bottom of your browser, in most cases you'll see the "real" address displayed and you can type it into the address bar
