They might be a type of millipede. I've heard olf them infesting damp areas. If the curl up into balls when you poke them, they probably are.

They are water worms which leads to water roaches, they get into the house and start nesting your in troubles they bites and leave mildew odors smells everywhere.! 1.buy dihumidifer get moisture out.2. put a cedar door in place, the bottom all rotted.3.get baking soda boxes sprinkle and mops with bleach.4.after you shower take a wet vac and vaccum all the extra water up.5. all else fails calls bugs controls units.

buy some acetone, and try cleaning the area. Acetone (paint thinner??) will pull most the water out of the area, and will also suck all the water out of the worms...killing them instantly.

It sucks that your sister has worms, you should take her to the vet. It worked for my dog, too.
