The sex of all babies are determined by the father, so no, the mother's age would have nothing to do with it. Males have an x and y chromosome, and females have x and x. So all the mother can contribute is x. Whichever comes from the father determines whether the baby will be male or female.

The sex of a baby is determined by the sperm not the egg. All eggs contain the "x" chromosome. The sperm carries a "y" chromosome or an "x" chromosome.
xx=female
xy=male
The older the mother the higher chance of birth defects, however.
