I am listening now a lot more than when I was younger. I learned a real valuable lesson one day, that is that older people are very smart, see life repeats itself. They have lived it so therefore their advice is priceless.

Yes I do, but I must admit, my kids teach me some of the best lessons ever. Like tolerance, patience, forgiveness, not to sweat the small stuff.

Four children later, I find almost nothing upsets me anymore :)

I make it a p oint when saying my evening meditation/prayers to review what I have learned. It helps to adjust my attitude about a lot of things - and if I slack I pay for it as well.

yes, and then i ***** about it, think about it, and pick myself back up and say i'll never EVER do that again. I also beleive in karma.
