The Dreamers is a wonderful movie. Waking Life is great too, although some critics did love that one. Dark City is a gem. On the flipside of that coin, I have to admit that Borat isn't that great even though critics are falling all over themselves for it.

O.K.--this isn't exactly the critics' view..but rather how the cable company rated the movie. Mrs. Doubtfire--2 stars?!?! Are you kidding? 2 stars out of 5 !?!?
Now it is not my most favorite movie in my whole life, but it is a good movie. It deserved a better rating than 2 stars.

A long time ago I saw "Unforgiven" and all the papers gave it "2 stars out of 4"....I'll never forget it...me and my best friend were like..."that movie was AMAZING!" ....
Only over the course of time (it was released in like June of 1992) did it gain any steam at all as it was seen for what it truly was...
Clints movie about his acting career...
I mean...everyone thought he was Dirty Harry and a sonofabitch cowboy like in all those Spaghetti Westerns...
But me and my friend saw the Truth...

Waterworld (I'm not a Kevin Costner fan) I just thought it was well paced, reasonably inventive (Mad Max comparisons aside) and Dennis Hopper always makes for a wonderfully eccentric villain.
'Now let's get this tub of sh*t up to speed!'
