LOL I thought the same thing! I had a vaginal delivery, and tore a bit - enough for three stitches. I lost a lot of sensation. I was also vey self-conscious about the scar tissue, and the fact that a baby had just come out of there! Not to mention, it hurt like the devil when Ambler was born.
Now, four months later, my husband and I are right back at it. Is it exactly the same? No. but I have all my sensation back, and love making love again. I can feel where the stitches went in, but a little less every day. I cannot hold my pee as long as I used to, either. But I can satisfy myself the same as ever, and still love sex with my guy.
When I was wondering if it would ever be the same, I went out and bought some really sexy lingerie, sent my baby to the inlaws (who were delighted to have him), and now.. hopefully... we have a little sister on the way. My husband insists that it is just as great as it ever was, and I have to agree.
Go for it, girl - you sound really cool. :D

LOL. I remember when my daughter was born 2 years ago I used to wonder the same thing.
It won't look exactly the same as before, however the sensation with sex has remained the same.
My thought process is, Iv'e had one child and we are currently trying for another, so if it's not broke, there's no pointing fixing it and for me personally at the end of the day - the only person I'm willing to show it to is my husband and his not complaining.......

No it will NEVER be the same as it was before you had a baby, NO part of your body will ever be the same. You can do exercises to keep toned but that is it. Your body has forever changed you can't go back.

Not really, but awfully close. Depends on whether you had tearing, and even how long you were in labor (so I've heard). I had two tears, one where the episiotomy would have been (four stitches), and one in my labia (2 stitches). I have scarring from it, and my vagina is a bit "looser" than it used to be, but my sensitivity is actually stronger now. Kegels can help, some, but you have to be really diligent for them to work. I wouldn't worry about it.

Do keggals, if you have done them through out pregnancy & post pregnancy it will be close to normal. Your vaginal walls are a muscle & can go back into shape
