No offense, but that sounds horrible.

For a boy, or for a girl? I like the sound of it, but not necessarily the spelling. Each name has their own meaning and vibration behind it, all depending on the spelling. I think it's the Kabalarian philosophy that deals with this. I don't want this to sound like an advertisement, but whenever I'm trying to find neat names I go to Kabalarians.com, or it's something like that at any rate, and they kind of give an indepth meaning on names. It's also a really good source to find other names. Sometimes I like the sound of a name, but can't find that right vibration or feel for it.

Putting all that aside however, it doesn't matter what I think of that name or what anybody else thinks of that name. You have to go with what your heart tells you. If nobody likes that name but in your heart, when you look into your baby's eyes and you know that's the right name for him or her... Then that's the one it has to have. A child has to have a name that properly fits its soul.

Sorry, I agree with just about everybody else -- awkward, and you'll have to tell everyone how to pronounce it. That'll suck after about the ten millionth time. And some doofus in her Grade 2 class is going to call her "Roo", and it'll stick until her high school graduation (kids can be mean!).

I'd pick something else, if it was me.

i love different names, but i love names that i dont have to correct people when they read it or say it out loud. u are already correcting people by saying its pronounced Roosnee. Might as well just spell it Roosnee, cause when i read it i was saying RUSne not ROOSnee. Good luck and God Bless

No. It's awkward, not very pretty, and sounds like Ruski (Russian.) In fact, between the two, I prefer Ruski.

Not really you have to consider when the child goes to school and the teasing they could face.

I personally don't really like the name, but it is your child so if that is what you like go for it.

Sure, if you want people to mispronounce your name most of the time.

I think that you and your child will have to spell it to everyone they ever meet. Try something easier.

I love it, but I would only name my baby that if I were Russian... =)
