I was told by a friend who was pretty when I didn't care about my looks for quite a few years after that or before it. I did start to wonder if I should have though. Eventually I cared a little too much. It's really just an excuse to get fussy about something. "Oh, I'm going to look uglier if my hair is THAT way. I need to get a hair cut today...." or "I will look uglier if I don't buy new clothes...again...so soon after the last time, yes, I know...."

Well, whoever said that probably doesn't feel too good about themselves to begin with. They might even be jealous, who knows. I wouldn't pay much attention to someone like that. It's good that you aren't letting it get to you, keep smiling!

It has happened more than once...usually by someone who felt threatened by me for one reason or another...the trick is to know yourself and be comfortable in your own skin.

It would hurt my feelings of course. But you know what. When people name call others, they are just trying to hide their own feelings of how they feel about themselves...or how others feel about them.

First of all, it is not her business.
Secondly, she probably hold some bad feelings toward you.
Lastly, tell her stop her behavior, tell her clearly, you don;t like it.
