those things are a maze to find the real person. just delete it and dont waste an hour of your life with it..

The email headers should contain the IP address of the sender. To try to get a location go to http://www.dnsstuff.com

Travis provided a good resource with DNS Stuff. They have a lot of nice tools.
You might also want to check the resource below which shows how to read the headers and also forged headers. Chances are your sender has forged the headers.

In Yahoo Mail, Options, General Preferences, setup to receive full headers.
When I receive notice that I won millions of dollars in some Nigerian lottery, I copy the whole message, header and all, then paste into the e-mail message box which I then send to abuse sites. Hopefully one of them will be able to shut it down, however, more will probably continue to pop up. These people don't give up.

to get the IP is so hard,and i think hackers can do that.but i dont think it's so important to check the IP.just delete it and get the address checked in your spam list,so that it will be not able to arrive in your email box again.

Right click on the sender's email address and select "properties" then "details" then "message source." I believe it has all that information in there.

When you find out the ip information, it will proboally be coming from nigeria, and it is a scam.
