It could be stress, but you might be having an alergic reaction. I know that sounds stupid, but my brother wet the bed until he was 15. At about that time they found out he was alergic to Milk and Citrius Acid. One made his blatter smaller and the other made it more active. At any rate he stoped drinking milk and has to watch lables for citric acid. I would say go see a doctor and get checked out. If he can't find anything wrong with you then it is just stress.

Its possible that the stress is doing it. A friend of mine is 22 and she started wetting the bed. I'm not quite sure what her possibility of reason was, but it happened 2 or 3 nights in a span of 2 weeks. Make sure you go to the bathroom before you go to sleep, or perhaps see a doctor on common medication used to treat bedwetting. It's not something to be embarrassed about - just think - in 60 years, it may happen again..

It is most likely the stress.
My nephew is being raised by my mom and brother. He used to wet the bed alot but got better at it and not as much. He is in the 10th grade.
Whenever his dad or mom comes around or calls, he goes through the same thing. Wets the bed and licks his lips until they turn to sores. It is a nervous habit.
I get spasms when I am stressed. They are uncontrollable and very painful so I have to monitor my stress level.
Keep your head up and stay true to you and your family. We all go through problems and stressors in life and things happen.
Watch your water intake in the evening and get up every time you think or dream of using the restroom.

I've been wetting the bed since I was 14, I'm 16 now. I've read allot about it, and I know that stress is a major cause of bladder incontenence. It's probably due to your dad's heart attack. I wish that I could find something that clear cut in my own life.

you are afraid that you might lose you dad , i think that you're very attached to him and love him so much that's a very good thing . but know everything will be okay just take care of him don't let him get stressed , not too much greasy food healthier food lots of love and every thing will be okay. try to keep the house at good temp at night so the coldness does not contribute to your wetting the bed.
everything will be okay these things happen in life so we know the value of each day and each other.

Yes, stress can make the bed wetting return. Have you tried not drinking liquids several hours prior to bed? And consider talking to a therapist about your loss?

Yes stress was most probably the problem
To fix it you first need t actully want to stop (which you do, so thatis step 1) there is a mat with a bell that when it gets wet it rings so your body wil know when it wants to go. Secondly you need to make sure your stress level goes down.

Go to counseling. Probably some subconscious desire to go back in time and not worry about Dad being older, thereby more prone to illnesses. The mind is capable of many things and stress messes with it!

Honestly, it really sounds like the stress of the whole situation just had a strange effect on you. Dont worry about it, your Dad is fine, and you will be too.
