Wasn't the Captain buried somewhere in Paris after his historic last " Love Will Keep Us Together " concert tour where he exposed his bald spot and was arrested by French Gendarmes? He epitomized the rebellion of youth. This other guy, Jim Morrison, was just a sell out for the Man.

I asked a question about the Captain an Tennille and now I can find out who God is. Wow! How lucky is that? Does he answer e-mails?

sell out? the whole question is a joke. Morrison was a sell out for no one, not even Ed Sullivan.

Oh, just do that to me one more time: Of course C&T were the more rebellious! You don't have to be in muskrat love to know that. The Doors just don't touch me like C&T. ;)

The Doors are the original rock and roll rebels. When no-one else would sing about the dark side of life and drugs, the never faultering Jim Morrison would. He is and will always be a rock god.

Man that is such a bad joke. I'm not going to lie it gave me a smile. But the sell out comment wasn't necessary. And anyone who agrees with that really has no idea who Jim Morrison was.

Captain Beefhart is more of a rebellion than either but The Doors were especially because they were banned from that one television for saying "Girl we couldn't get much higher"

A very good comparison actually. What's with that " C'mon C'mon C'mon touch me babe" crap, sounds like Wayne Newton.( my apologies to Mr.Newton)
