I just read the article bout the broken tv and i knew it was going to happen, if u don't know what happened they accidently threw the controller on the tv because u know u have to move it, so i think that they should have made a strap for ur wrist so it stays on u even if ur controller flys away it will still be with u, like what a camera has, so any wii workers or boss, tell this to ur headboss so they can make the thing

Ummm...it does have a wrist strap. I don't use it, myself. I can't see myself ever getting that carried away, over a game.

"i think that they should have made a strap for ur wrist so it stays on u even if ur controller flys away it will still be with u, like what a camera has"

Good idea...too bad Nintendo already beat you to it.

You "just read" the article, did you?

Then here, let me cut and paste something from that article so that you can see how stupid this question is.

"Hold on, though. If you're wearing the (supplied) wrist strap, no harm done, right? So you'd think. As you can see, some Wii owners are finding the strap decidedly lacking. (Check out nascent site wiihaveaproblem.com for more strap malfunctions.) The problem isn't with the amply broad strap itself, but the considerably narrower section that connects the strap with the remote, which is prone to fray in some circumstances. The result is smashed remotes, smashed televisions, smashed windows, and unhappy (or, at least, somewhat red-faced) customers. "

If you are illiterate i apologize, but even in the piictures of the Wii you CAN SEE THE STRAP.

\So you know...read better...or something.

I am a proud owner of a wii and so far there's no problems without the strap. The stories about broken tv's usually involve those mentaly, or, physically impaired.

There is a strap. And it's worked great for me.

And common sense would tell you to hold on to anything that you have to swing around, right?
