pc means it is compatible with any computer running the Windows operating system. While iPod is an Apple product it is designed to be compatible with machines other than its own iMac. On the installation disk will be a copy of iTunes, the program that transfers songs to the iPod, that is designed for the Windows operating system and works exactly like it works on the Mac.

pc stands for personal computer, they ussually operate windows. Mac is a different type and operates MAC OS,

You can run an ipod on either one.

2gb is how much memory it has. I am not sure how many songs that is, but it is in the x, xxx's.

Basically if you don't have that Apple logo on the front it is PC.
