I've read something once about Afghans having one of the highest numbers of violence in the home and amongst their communities because of the decades of war they have experienced. Some states in Africa have the same social problems after years and years of war and in some instances the million plus of child soldiers who grow up with hatred and murder.

Well first of all, you know that the term "race" might not be the word you are looking for...maybe nationality or ethnicity would be better. To answer the question though, I know there are certain groups that have a bad reputation....such as the Irish for having tempers (which might make them violent). Whether this is actually a racial thing (genetics) or just upbringing is probably open to debate however.

Union General William T. Sherman (American Civil War) was supposed to have said "War is Hell" and he was right. Mankind has the ability to do both great, wonderful things and it also has the ability to do some of the most heinous, deplorable, & unspeakable things, too. The reason you are so outraged is because any decent & kind person would never willing take part in such horrific events. Unfortunately, there are plenty of people in this world who will take part in it. War is indeed "hell". That's why wars should be the absolute last resort in any conflict between nations...

white people have a history of conquest on a large scale, but all people in all times and in all places have been somewhat warlike, and seem equally confrontational with the people more closely surronding them.

whether or not that says anything about white people genetically i do not know, but it probably has more to do with history and geography than a tendency towards evil

Yes, the one who allows itself to be taken by the dark side and feel that it be justified by it. Where there is no love, there is evil.
