There is a distinct and very large class of people on here that actually can't tell when someone is asking a question for comedic effect or to get a rise out of folks.
I call those people our resident "pull toys" or "meat puppets."
They'll post serious responses to the most ridiculous question, not even realizing when they're being "had." It's pretty freakin' hilarious.
The best examples come from when folks post obviously racist questions... Watch the pull toys come out of the woodwork then! They'll post something about how being racist is wrong (as if any moron with better than a 3rd grade education didn't already KNOW that), and then stand around waiting for people to give them a virtual pat on the back through the "thumbs up" button.
The worst of the bunch though, are the crybabies that report you every time they're offended. I haven't invented a name for them yet, but I'm sure once I do, it will be so bad that I won't be able to post it.

yes!!! It drives me nuts when I see a joke or a riddle & some little smart asss feels the need to answer it within 40 seconds ruining all the fun. I just want to say "good for you!!! you have no life outside of Answers, now can the rest of us enjoy a frickin joke?!" Thanks for letting me vent!
