Youth of the old days, didn't have many of the modern conveniences of the youth of today. Life was more simple. Slower pace to life. Less stress.
Our youth today are misunderstood. They are faced with many things that even 20 years ago were basically unknown. They are pushed to succeed at earlier ages than ever before. They aren't allowed to just be kids. They are judged many times unjustly. So much more is expected of them, and they rebel. I don't blame them. I sympathize with them. The youth of today amaze me, all the things that they face upon reaching adulthood. They have my respect.

Youth in times past had more respect and a higher value system, but youth today have more opportunity's for success. information technology has transformed the world and the pace in which kids learn is staggering.

Youth of yesteryear were brought up much stricter compared to youth of today. TGenerations of my parents were not spoilt and had to attend church They had it a lot tougher. I know of youth todayget rides to school when they could simply walk to high schoolinstead of being driven to places. That is one example.

Speaking for myself it seems the youth today are spoiled...not saying all of them are however a majority of them are lazy and not all that bright at times and seem much greener then back in my day.
Not saying all todays youth are like this however a lot are.

The youth of today seem to grow up too quickly because of technology giving them access to too much information at such a young age and corporations now targeting "tweens" and young people.

All youths are the same no matter what generation. We are still looking for happiness and defying control by rebelling!

More self aware, more informed, I think even with increased divorce kids are still lucky because parents are cooler and allow children to have a place in the family dynamics. My generation was never SEEN OR HEARD if you wanted live to 20

Both are pretty much lazy and don't do squat around the house to help out.
