This is going to sound a little wierd but a lot of times thrift shops/second hand stores have stuff like that and for a lot less money!

If your looking for a goth-type corset, talk to other people about alternative clothing stores in your area. Most cities with 500,000+ people have at least one and a lot of smaller cities have them too. when you buy a corset it's absolutely essential that you get a good quality one that fits properly because of the nature of corsetry. Therefore. it's best to find a small store which has a knowledgeable staff. A good, real corset should set you back at least $300. Anything else is not worth having. Burlesque performance artist Dita von Teese emphasizes that it's absolutely essential to have a good corset because bad ones are hellish, of course, since she's a pro she gets hers all specially and professionally made, but still it's good advice.

Don't buy a corset from any "trendy" shops. buy one with reinforced boning and stiches. I bought one from Fredrick's of Hollywood years ago and it still looks like new (oh my goth club days!). good luck, and don't pay more than $150 for a fab one!

I just bought a corset from www.heavyred.com and it is well made and cute. I paid $100.00 for mine, worth every penny.
