I am currently 14 yrs old 5' 8 or 5'9 and i weigh 120 lbs. I really think this is so skiny because i look at myself and i am really really skiny and i hate it, people at school make fun of me and stuff like that, You can basically see my rib cage sticking out of my chest, But yet i eat and eat but gain nothing, i really hate this and want to gain weight or atleast muscle, any advice?

That is pretty skinny. Hmmm . . . I don't know what to tell you, other than you probably need to change your diet. You should be eating at least 2000 calories daily, probably closer to 3000 if you do anything besides sit around all day (which could also cause you to be skinny). Approximately 60% of your calories should come from carbohydrates, 30% from fat, and 10% from protein. Carbohydrates and protein yield four calories per gram, and fat yields nine calories per gram. Eat a more protein if you're trying to gain weight, and do not add that protein to your calorie count. Also, stay off the caffeine. Try eating larger meals less often (for example, three times daily), instead of eating all the time with snacks. That allegedly slows down the metabolism. Good luck!

Im 14, 5'5'' and 120 lbs...
You need to lift weights because muscle weighs more than fat...
