Okay, I have a boyfriend, and we also have lesbian friends that we hang out with often... The thing is that my boyfriend doesn't mind seeing two guys kiss, it turns him on, however, when two of my girlfriends kiss... it makes him gag and he told me "Ewwwww, gross.". I looked at them and I didn't mind it, but I'm not turned on by it drooling all over the place yelling "Oh! Hell Yea... Wooo hooo! Yea"
I don't know, does this make him homophobic? I mean he's still friends with them.

As it should, Lesbians gross me out! Just kidding! As gay men try and be tolerant of our lesbian sisters because we are sharing the same fight for equality. But, it doesn't mean we have to like seeing them kiss! It just doesn't do anything for me... Like seeing a straight couple kiss. It also depends on how much they are kissing. A simple pleasant peck on the lips as a greeting is OK for everybody. But a full fledged kissing party, frenching and all, yuck!

Homo-meaning the same
Phobia- a persistent, irrational fear of a specific object, activity, or situation that leads to a compelling desire to avoid it.
Therefore, you think your boyfriend has an irrational fear of sameness. Does he run screaming down the street when he sees identical twins? Does he go into panic attacks when he sees a football stadium filled with fans all wearing the same color?
Could it be that he is repulsed by the thought of two women kissing? Why is he turned on by two men kissing...I'd be more worried about that!!!

This is actually the reverse to the more common situation that guys won't mind lesbians but hate gay men because they see it as a threat to their masculinity. He might be mildly homophobic (lesbianphobic?) or he might find kissing between girls offensive, or just between those particular girls. Maybe discuss it with him if you're curious or concerned about his behaviour.

That sounds reversed. Straight guys don't get hot seeing two guys going at it. We do get excited when two hot lesbos go at it. Yes, it is discrimination and homophobic. Two gay guys, ewwww. Two gay girls, yeahhhh! But when your homophobic, your not friends with gays, you look down upon them as sinners, unnaturalists, crimes against nature. So I would say he's not homophobic to that extent but only partially. Like most men. Only fanatic religious people are hardcore homophobes.

Most straight guys are the other way around - they love to see women kiss, but think it's disgusting to see men kiss. But, yeah, your boyfriend probably is homophobic (or lesbophobic might be more accurate - since he likes seeing guys kiss!)
