I did some research for you, the thing about laws is they can be manipulated. The judge will grant you a dissolution of marriage if there is just cause, even if the other party is unwilling to sign papers. Just cause, is if the other spouse is abusive in any way, an alcoholic, drug addict, ext. You get the point, but every judge is different, they can do pretty much what they want to do. The judicial system can work for you or against you, so I suggest that you get a good lawyer if you really are going to go through with this. Good Luck to you sweetie : )

the court works it out(speak with your lawyer) .... your spouse can't stop the divorce by not signing....

Since either of you can't agree - the court steps in and rules.... all the filing person does is show that - both parties have lived apart for 1 year and there's incompatibility. Even if there's property the court will divide up all property that was gained during the marriage (division is 50/50)

yes it will go through it just takes along time. I am not sure of the exact time frame...
