People who are arrogant are unhappy. They behave as if they are better than others because deep down inside, they are feeling very badly about themselves for one reason or another. Happy people do not place themselves above anyone, they live with a sense of compassion and understanding of others. Think about it, arrogant people are having to constantly judge everyone they meet to make sure they are better than them. How awful.

A child born to handsome parents, born into a wealthy family, went to the best schools, has a superior attitude because of it - Hey- Just let it be. Why would you want to "tame". Take them down a peg or two? It takes away your time. Live the life given to you. Lifes' experiences will deliver "tameness" to them, mark my words. In the meantime , forget them. You have a duty to yourself to live the best fulfilled life you were given. Wasting on pettiness is wasting yourself. Beauty and wealth is mostly luck, education is not! Beauty and wealth can easily disappear, education can't!
Concentrate on yourself and if you really feel the need to tame, become a veterinarian and be proud!

It is not your place to do such a thing... That is childish schoolyard B.S.. If there is one thing I hope you learn from this it is, there is no point in doing such a thing. Every plus side has a down side. You may not see it but it is true. On top of that how can you judge a person without walking a mile in their shoes? When I was in school, I was a geek. I moved, and because of where I had moved to, I changed schools... All of a sudden I was a cool kid. But there was so much backstabbing, lies, and what not within the "in crowd" that I just walked away, and choose to be friends with real sincere people. If I could do it again, I would have walked away sooner... It sounds like you feel threatened by someone. My best advise is just live your life. You don't have to like this person, but why should you waist your energy letting him/her know how you feel?
I have given you enough information as to why you should just leave the person be... Now it is up to you to heed my words.

Get a big Mirror and a Wooden Cross, if you dont see a reflection when they look into it then they are a Vampire sucking off your energies to feel stronger, dont enter into any conflict with them or bandy words they choose to use others around them as a reflection for mainly they have no character to associate with they are very shallow. So your actions should be none, dont react to them you stay calm, not dull but dont let them get a rise out of you, for what they are wearing their pompous conversations, yawn a little and then say" Man this is boring and walk away and do something that you like that excites you and that is that, leave them in the dust. Ghost them. They will learn and if they dont use the wooden cross. ha ha

The only cure for ignorance is humility. Beauty wealth and education or occupation are great ways to protect ones self from feeling humility and opening ones eyes up to ones own ugly shortcomings. And I don't mean it as in "to Humiliate", I mean it as a sort of humbleness, the kind that only the truly soulful and deep and wise people possess. If you know a truly humble person who works hard at what they do, and who is kind, just mention to one of the proud and arrogent types "what a beautiful person wesley is. He just minds his own buisess, does his work, never complains. What a truly great soul." that'll get them.

you will never get anything my taming them my friend, rather i feel that u become the one challenge ure situation, by the way u become the best one, but onething to learn from arrogant people is that when we grow we must not be like them but rather be a creative person. if u try and keep thinking of taming them it means that ure counting as ure neighbours penny and u have none. so i would request u to be courageous set targets and develop ureself a more...if they show arrogancy dont show them back arrogancy cos then there wouild be no difference between you and him/her. regards

Who is giving you the right to tame them?

There is nothing wrong with being proud and arrogant if you have earned that right. Arrogance = self confidence. That's a good thing. You have self confidence when you know that you are better at something than the rest. We don't need to feel guilty about being better than the rest.

Arrogance is easy to kill off when people have nothing to back it up.

The defect we see in others is but a reflection of our on defects, use them as a mirror to correct your own defect and you will tame them all, they will disappear from your mirror. Love

You forget about their flaws and focus on your own. Really. Their arrogance has nothing to do with you and ignoring it is the biggest slight (which, I am quite sure, you are searching for).

You are obviously proud of some trait that you yourself possess, or you would not have asked such a question.
Work on yourself first.
