How does the Zune work?

I want to know if the songs can be transferred with Itunes. Is it the same as the IPOD?

No, you cannot use the songs acquired from iTunes on a Zune.

In fact, you cannot use music purchased from any other site (yahoo music, napster, MTV Urge, FYE, etc) on the Zune -- you need to purchase your music from the Zune online music store, or a DRM free MP3 file.

For now, most people a better off waiting for the next generation Zune and bypassing the existing device until Microsoft gets things better sorted out.
