In the 80's I was to Nuevo Laredo a couple times. In fact the 1 time i walked across the bridge and on into town to an interesting Square where they haggled over table cloths, Margaritas and more then took off for a walk further thru town till I noticed someone following me I ducted into a bar and had a Corona then headed back where I came from with no troubles.
The other time I went with a friend and we took a carriage ride and the man took us to Boys town and back with no troubles.
But you know from what I hear on the news today I'm not sure I'd attempt it again unless I had a different feeling when I got there.

when i went to mexico in car, i only passed nuevo laredo! but by the view... i saw a bunch of stores that have everything you need(or want!).

If you're stupid enough to go to NL then you're not intelligent to understand information. That's worse than going to Bagdad. In Bagdad they don't descriminate-they shoot everyone, in NL they lood for americans to kidnap/kill.
