It is a day to celebrate thanks it began 1621 when settlers had celebration with Indians to show their thankfulness for a great harvest to help them survive the winter, now it is a once a year reminder to share our gratitude to/for the people/things we are grateful for.

It's my favorite holiday because of 1) 3 games of football 2) The Thanksgiving parade 3) The food!!! 4) But most of all, because I am eating and having a good time with family and friends. We remember to say "thanks" for all the things we DO have and not just focus on the things we don't have.

Let us all celebrate the Native Americans' generousity towards the Palefaces and bring both parties together in harmony. NOT! If not for the Native People the Europeans would be done for. Let us celebrate the eventually extermination of the native people whose numbers now are sadly low.
