I don't see it as such and most the people I know do not. But then again I have 9 piercings and 10 tattoos at the moment. As long as a tattoo or piercing is done well and suits the person I think they are wonderful. I find both piercings and tattoos to be wonderful works of art and it is crazy to see how people usually react to them here when it is normal for a 5 year old child in some places to have a tattoo or a piercing because it is part of there culture. So unless you have 90 piercings in your face I don't think it is trashy. Tattoos in general I do not, as said if they are done well and suit the person. :]

Wow he is a low life. We so need less of them kind of men around and more of the honest and trust worthy men (which they are hard to find these days). I know it must be hard on you and your daughter considering she is still young and believes what people tell her, and then for you having to put up with all the lies and then your daughters pain because of his lies. I'm so sorry this had to happen to you. But whatever you do don't let him back in your life because he will just do it again and that will be more hurt on you and your daughter. Soon enough your daughter will be old enough to realize that he was just messing with both of yalls heads for most of what all men want, sextivity. But again so sorry and I wish you the best of finding Mr. Right, he is out there somewhere just don't loose the faith in searching.

Yeah that is trashy. I am a single mom of 4 kids and I have guys try to play that game all the time. I have learned to cut it off before it starts. If someone makes a promise to my kid and does not follow through with it then they are out the door. I know it is hard to swallow the pain for your child. Just give her a little more attention and be honest (to a point) about what happened.

kell: We all have made dumb choices in our lives. What this guy has really done is violated your daughter's trust in males since he won her over and dropped her like a hot potato. In a word of humble advice to you. When you decide to bring a man into your daughter's life, please ensure, as much as possible, that he is trust worthy. My heart goes out to your little girl and this big jerk hurt her beyond words ! Explain with your daughter, that in life there are good men and bad men - in addition, that the good men have to be found before you can trust them. You are not the "bad" guy ... he is !!! Cherish the time together you can have with your daughter ... you will never regret it ! Good luck to you "kelly" !!!

Wow. that sucks. You know there are soo many horrible people out there who use people, but using a nine-year-old daughter. That is just sick. And it is truly sad that she still loves him, honestly he is a british scumbag. I hope you can bear through this horrible event. I give you the best of luck.

yep, you are the bad guy. and you deserve to be. you should not bring in men that can hurt your children. it doesn't sound like you were with this man for very long. you made a bad choice twice with this guy.
first by bringing him around your daughter and second by going with a goof in the first place. from now on check on these men you intend on bringing around your child. NEVER BRING HOME A MAN TO MEET YOUR CHILDREN UNLESS YOU HAVE DATED HIM FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS!!! YOUR CHILDS SAFETY AND EMOTIONS ARE WORTH MUCH MORE THAN SOME JACK *** MAN!!!

First of all I would not be talking to my 9 year old about his antics. What I would be saying to her is that he may not be back and if he does she needs to talk to him. 9 yr olds are not stupid. Do not feed any more information to her. Thank you .

That's why so many people say not to involve your love life with your child's life. Until you have a date and a ring don't get your kid involved with another man.
