Lauren, once we hit 50, I have found that people like personal things for Christmas. If it were me, I would like a blanket with me and my son's picture on it, a massage cushion, a nice robe with some slippers, or a necklace with a pretty cross.

I say, take her on a special date, one,she used to give you when you were a little girl. Every grown woman misses the girl in her. A gift of time is one of the greatest gifts. Depending on where you are going, you can always stay within your budget. Good luck!

I get these for my mom every year and she can't get enough. She loves them and uses them to place her grandchildrens pictures on the refrigerator and the file cabinets in her office.
