now how does that fit in with "I have a dream"? Even encouraged violence. And as a "white Person" I'm suppose to take it, right? Because I did something, not sure what but I am white so must have done something bad at sometime, right?

believe it or not I haven't heard any skin head remarks them people scare me. Black people don't scare me so I listen to there remarks.

Wow!

Violence is violence. White, black, indian, chinese, japanese.

I am a young black man and totally disagree with violence as a means of solving problems. Violence may solve an immediate problem, but down the road it creates 10 fold what it solved.

It doesn't matter what kind of person you are because color is irrelavant. You have to stand up for yourself and you are very much right in you doing so.

Don't let someone's ignorance incite hate and anger in you though...

Regardless of what anyone on here answers, the Obama administration has chosen not to go after the New Black Panther group. The fact that anyone could stand with a stick outside a voting poll and not be subjected to any repercussions astounds me. Screw it man...that's Chicago politics. Also to all you morons throwing out the race card guess what? The president is black and he wasn't voted in by all black people. Some of us voted for the guy too. Many of us are sorry now we did. Don't you think it's about time to stop playing that card every time someone has an issue with the guy?

I have to say I agree with LoneStar. Not because I condone this statement. But, who were they talking about, and why did they say that? What was it in reference to?
The Black Panther Party and MLK Jr. were not affiliated with each other, and they were fighting for completely different things. Everyone knows about MLK, and the I Have a Dream speech and all that. But, not very many people know about the Black Panther Party except for what was talked about in the media.
I have done A LOT of research on the Black Panther Party and the black revolution as a whole. They didn't start off violent at all. And their main focus was keeping drugs off the streets, having breakfast and lunch programs for innercity kids, and building up the black communities. This was mainly during a time when cocaine and crack were becoming a big deal in the community. Because they had such a following, the FBI created the COINTEL program, and basically tried to shut them down any way they could. They started using force, so the Black Panther Party started as well. According to the Declaration of Independence, they had that right.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

And they wouldn't just go around trying to shoot up white people. They we're there trying to protect their own. Being that the media is run by the Government, the Black Panther Party was definitely shined in a negative light. The Black Panther Party did not hate all white people. And, if you look at some of the past members, you can tell that some we're probably at least half white themselves. They were not about black supremacy or anything like that. They were against the oppression of black people.

I seriously doubt that the statement was meant directly towards each and every white person. Just the ones who are in the position to abuse their power.

Because of Adams sin ALL humans are wicked and fall short of perfection.
All humans will try to dominate other humans to the point of harm.
All humans are equal in the eyes of God for salvation, and an equal place in Heaven and on the Paradise Earth. So we had all better learn to get along, because according to the Bible, we are all going to be living together for a VERY VERY long time!!!!!!!!

Maybe you should elaborate. Whites from USA, Europe, Canada, South Africa, etc. Are you referring to all whites and the Black Panthers being evil. I'm not quite there with you.

The Black Panthers are nothing but a racist hate-group. There is no reason any person with an ounce of sanity or common sense would listen to anything they said. Martin Luther King Jr had absolutely nothing to do with those retards, don't sully his name by drawing an association between them.

Even my liberal yankee friends drive way around Atlanta because its "too dark".
