Is there a cold air intake available for a 1998 Grand Prix GT with the 3.8L? I know K&N has one for the 1999, but that is the earliest year they have for Grand Prix's. Anyone know of any other place that has intakes for a '98 or if the intake for the '99 can be used in a 1998?

1998 and 1999 grand prix engine compartments and engines are the same.
The 1999 cold air induction will work on the 1998 with out any modification.

You can also go for a Fenderwell Intake. It's cheap, and can be made from all home depot supply's, minus the air filter. Very nice Intakes as well, and a fairly easy install.

SLP performance has the best one. It is inside a box allows only cold air and is quiet at full throttle.
