According to Special Theory of Relativity, speed of light in free space is same for all inertial observers (inertial observer is an observer possessing a frame of reference in which Newtons law of inertia is true).
When we study General Theory of Relativity, in the context of Cosmology we come across case when Galaxies moving with speed greater than the speed of light. Here Galaxies are beyond the particle horizon. But actually the space between the Galaxies are increasing with speed greater than the speed of light beyond the particle horizon.
Tachyons are not experimentally observed entities and it got imaginary mass as well. Imaginary mass cannot be physically observed.

Maybe some day science will find a way around the speed-of-light limit. Right now, though, it's been shown that as any mass moves faster its mass increases. That means that to go faster you've got to pump in more energy. The closer and closer you get to the speed of light, the more massive the object gets, and you need even more energy to kick it up to faster speeds. Finally, at the speed of light the object would have infinite mass, and would require infinite energy to move beyond the speed of light. Obviously both infinite mass and infinite energy are not possible.

Sorry but nothing will ever go faster than light.
ps: Also if you could go just as fast as light how would see where you are going when you are already going as fast as light? It would be like flying a jet in the dark through a forest. You are going to hit something.

Einstien is right as of today. We know nothing that can travel faster than light in present day. But in the future, we might be able to travel faster than light using warp technology. The USS Enterprise NCC1701D can travel at warp 9.

nothing can travel faster than light,
the speed of light is 300000000 m/s....
because light particles have very less mass, that it considered as doesn't possess any mass,
so it is possible to travel in that much of speed...
but any particle other than light photons having certain amount of mass, so, with that mass it is impossible to travel in the light's speed...
can you understand...?
if any doubts don't hesitate to as me at

good luck.
