I am assuming you mean a 30GB mp3 player. If you actually mean a 30MB mp3 player, that would equal to only 10 mp3's. If you meant 30GB mp3 player, that would equal to approximately 6,000-10,000 songs. Mp3's usually range between 3-5MB in size. 30GB = 30000MB.

It can hold something around 10 to 15 Songs ONLY! Obviously it depends on the size of Songs you are going to put in it!

It depends on how tightly you compress the files. I have a lot of music files recorded at 'lossless' compression (same as a CD), one of which would fill that MP3 player to capacity. The tighter the compression, the more songs you can cram into the MP3 player, but the worse the songs sound.
