Change a + into a 4. It becomes 545 + 5 = 550.

Someone tried to do this yesterday, but had = 555, which screwed everything up.

The answer is that you attach a diagonal line to either of the plus signs to make the equation 545 + 5 (or 5 + 545) = 550.

545 + 5 = 550
5 + 545 = 550

(or 5+5+5 ≠ 550 :D)

put a diagonal line on "=" to make it "≠"
therefore 5+5+5 ≠ 550

That's cute...not too mathematical, but cute.

My thought was to insert the single straight line diagonally through the equal sign...making it a not equal sign.
