My parents were more traditional than I am and more aware of what will other people say. Yet, I have inherited the nerve to do what I think is right and challenge the world if there is a real need to do so from them. Fashions and fads have changed and their tastes may be different but basically the human ntures, the relationship dynamics, social attitudes, the interaction with other people haven't changed much. Yes, I love technology more than them and more dependent on automatic machines to do some of my work.

A generation Gap, Communication Gap, Speed, Understanding.
Rude...these are the differences between us.
But still we love, care, respect one to one.

I'd have to say that I'm living a life much less, well, structured.
I never had children (deliberately), which freed me to travel widely, and to live and work overseas.
On the other hand, I'm just as morally hidebound as they were, and have a smothering sense of what's right and what's wrong.
I sure do miss them!

Well, I never had kids, which is a huge difference, and I don't have a job and my mom does. I'm still young.
