Many do, for a number of reasons.

1) Resentment that bisexuals can simply slip right in with heterosexuals, if they so choose. They can fall in love with a woman, be married, and be normal. They never really have to come out as not straight if they dont feel like it. Just enjoy the perks of gay sex and live a straight life.

2) Some percieve that bisexuals are more likely to be closeted, and less likely to be out and supporting gay rights. They feel the whole gay community must stand together, and bisexuals are more prone to stand back and watch.

3) They feel bisexuals are not trustworthy. They have only known the feeling of being attracted to one sex. Just like heterosexuals who cannot understand gay people, they can't see how one can be interested in both sexes. They fear a bisexual will never be able to commit, never be satisfied.

4) They may be afraid that a bisexual will leave them for the opposite sex. No one likes to be dumped, no one likes to see their ex with another. But with the animosity between the gay and straight communities, they feel the bisexual is a traitor to his own kind. They feel betrayed.

It's not fair, but its human nature to be resentful, jealous, untrusting, and fearful. I dont blame them. But I wish they'd see that as a hated minority, they should do their best to try to see the other perspective. At the end of the day, they're both hated sexual minorities, and have more in common than not.

Some people do, some people don't. I think its the fact that most gay people believe that Bisexuals have it easy since they can choose to live a straight life. Others just feel uncomfortable being in a relationships with bisexuals always thinking that they will never be able to satisfy their partner completely. I guess its a story thats different for every one. The society tends to group the LGBT together.. and the "B" stands for Bisexuals.

Top Myths About Bisexual Men

Homosexuals and heterosexuals alike often misunderstand the nature of bisexuality. The thought of a person that is attracted to both men and women can be confusing and frequently leads to misconceptions and stereotypes. Below are the top 5 myths about bi men.

* Bisexuality Is Only a Phase

For years the gay community has challenged heterosexuals who publicly state that homosexuality is only a phase. Bisexuals face the same generalization from both the gay and straight community. Many bisexuals are completely in touch with their emotions and desires for members of both sexes and often feel limited by the thought of attraction to only a man or woman. Emotional connections often take precedence when bisexuals pursue a potential partner. Bisexuality is just as much of a natural preference as homosexuality and heterosexuality.

* Bi Men Have to Choose To Be Either Gay or Straight

Bisexuals are attracted to both men and women on both an emotional and physical level. Some "lean straight" (meaning they prefer a member of the opposite sex, but same sex partners are always an option) and others "lean gay" (which means they prefer members of the same sex, but would consider a relationship with a member of the opposite sex). Nonetheless, they are not simply gay or straight and definitely do not have to choose.

* Bisexual Men are Sexually Confused

A common misconception in both the gay and heterosexual communities is that bisexuals are sexually confused and cannot make up their minds which sex they like. However, that's the whole point- bisexuals are attracted to both sexes and are in many cases more clear about their sexuality than most others.

* Bisexual Men Will Never Marry

Alongside the thought that bisexual men and women are sexually confused is the myth that they will never be able to settle on a partner of any sex. In many cases bisexuals put a lot of emphasis on emotional connections with either sex. This in mind, the opportunity for them to find a life partner is just as viable as it is for a heterosexual or homosexual. However, since same-sex marriage isn't legal in most places of the world, only a heterosexual marriage in most places will be recognized by law.

* Bi Men are Sexually Promiscuous

Bisexuals are no more promiscuous than any others. Promiscuity (or frequent sex with multiple partners) depends on the individual irrespective of their sexual preference. However, liking both sexes increases a bisexual's chances of a sexual encounter or potential relationship (by shear numbers alone).

Yes there is such a discrimination even here in my country (Philippines). Everytime gay people especially those effeminate ones knows you are bisexual, they will make sarcastic remarks such as "You like c o c k, we like c o c k, therefore you are also GAY!" The conflict also starts with bisexuals refusing to associate themselves with gay people. As one person pointed out here, there is no in-between, its either you are gay or straight. However the fact is clear, there are bisexuals. There are even straight people who have certain fetishes that can be associated being gay. The world is indeed changing, being gay is not as simple as it used to be.

Some gay people, along with some straight people, believe that you can only be gay or straight.....nothing in-between.

Not all of us are like that.

I believe in the Kinsey Scale........google it.

I have many bisexual friends.
What they're in to is none of my business.

Never. We are all as one and we have to band together. I don't care who is what - we are all human beings and need to be treated with respect.

I don't. To me, if anyone supports the gay community, either by being gay or accepting homosexuality, then they're a part of my community. welcome aboard! we've got t-shirts.
