The screen your are seeing is known as the blue screen of death. What is happening is there is a driver or system files that is corrupt and causing the system to act as it is. My advice would be to go try and boot into safe mode and see if it works. If you can get into safe mode then you can attempt to fix the problem or if you have Win XP do a system restore. If you cant then I would recommend inserting the operating system disk and attempt a repair. You do need to be careful when going through the prompts with the repair so as not to reinstall the operating system and wipe out your files. Hope this helps.

This is called blue death. This means you have some serious problems. If you dont have a warranty that is bad. I you do, contact your support and they will fix it. Otherwise you need to reinstall your operating system or do a repair. The black screen means that you probably have corrupted yous system and it asks for a location to find the system. Try doing a system restore or contact support. Only in the last matter do you use the operating system reinstall or repair.

Usually A Harware Configuration problem. Some device(s) on your computer may be trying to use the same resources.

Try remove some un-essential components from your syetem, and removing their associated device drivers. Start your computer into Safe Mode to do this.

I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus or any problems. It may be a few weeks or months back. You have to decide the date. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html
The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

Start in safe mode then run
CHKDSK /F
from a command prompt [start / run / cmd]

If that completes successfully, run a system file check from the command prompt
sfc /scannow

Then restart in regular mode.
