Ok im not going to go in depth with all the info you've requested but i will do my best. A 300ZX has a 3L V6 with around 222hp. You can also get a Turbo which comes with 300hp. The GSR comes with an I4 with 170hp. The GSR might and thats a definite "might" get out quicker but the 300ZX with catch up pretty quick. I own a 3000GT and raced a GST which has 220hp with mods. Now my car has 220hp. Now you would assume that the GST would have smoked the crap out of me. Guess what, The GST can only go 35mph on first while i can go up to 47mph on first. I have more power in each gear which gives me a greater advantage. A 300ZX will definitely beat a GSR without either having mods.

300ZX has the simple advantage of a larger displacement engine and being rear-wheel drive. The two really can't be compared because they're different classes of car, where the Integra is a mid-displacement engine and the 300ZX is a large displacement engine. If you're looking for performance, the default should always be rear or all wheel drive over front wheel drive. Superior traction due to weight shift on takeoff, and less wear on the front tyres in the case of the rear wheel drive.

i know the gsr only weighs about 2600lbs and has around 170HP. i'd get a type r over the gsr though cause it has 190+HP and is 100lbs lighter. with a turbo it can out perform a 300zx with a real close race. both would have about 300HP and close in weight. i'd go honda though. cheaper parts and more reliable.
