Respect yourself and get tested, and also use condoms to stay safe. Respect your steno and any other member of the human race by being safe when you consider sleeping with them.

If you are afraid of your status at work and within your community, then DON'T DO IT.
Think ahead - don't be stupid. If you two have sex, then what? Do you think she's going to be satisfied to continue to work for you without more of your attentions? And there will be a break-up. How will you and she react to that?
Allow the fantasy to be better than the reality.

I dont think you should do it. The fact that you are typing on here with your doubts, show to US that you do not necessarily want to either. If you were 100% certain that having sex is what you wanted to do, then you would have done it already. But listen to your heart, and stay away from for now.

Nothing good ever comes out of a work tryst. I suggest no only do you avoid it, but you have him transferred into another department, maybe a small promotion. I don't know how you got to the point of knowing he wants to have sex with you, but in the words of my great aunt Greet, "are you out of your ever loving mind?"
