Really depends on who you're around. Most people I know are quite accepting of others, at least in my age group. (which can also play a large role)
It's not wrong. In fact, sexual orientation is not something you can control. It's biological. If you are gay and are having trouble because of these friends, I would suggest rethinking who our real friends are.

No.
Never ever ever accept religious doctrine over your free will. Never ever accept prejudice over your free will. Never ever accept blinkered moralist narrow views over your free will. You are with people who truly cannot think for themselves and rely on prejudice, narrow thinking, perhaps religious dogma for their viewpoints. They will say this is their opinion and they are entitled to it. That's supposed to stop all arguement about their opinion being wrong. That's balls. Some folks even now have the opinion that the world is flat. Opinions can and often are wrong, narrow, based on little or no fact, come from wrong headed beliefs and often shored up by unreasoned emotion.
You will be right to be who are you. If in the course of living your life you don't have the desire to harm or abuse others, then nothing can be said against who are you. Just ignore the stupid sods, as you will not change them. Move away. Find some real friends, with real heart and with real minds. Narrow indoctrination can and usually is a terrible thing to do to a mind and I'm glad that you won't be allowing yourself to fall blindly into it.

It really comes down to what your code of morality is. I think it isn't wrong becuase first of all I can't help it. Second of all if I am not hurting any one than why does it matter really? It's just some people who are afraid of the unkown and believe that heterosexuality is the only "right" way are the ones that believe that homosexuality is wrong. Its all about the crowd you are with.

It's the people you're around, but their number is shrinking as more people gain familiarity with gay and lesbian folks and realize that we're human beings like anyone else. Young people especially tend to be more progressive in their attitudes toward gay and lesbian people as well as governmental recognition of same-sex relationships.

Just the people you're around. Some people think it's right, some people think it's wrong, but the majority, I believe, believe it's fine and dandy (including me).

nothing wrong at all with it. some people just don't understand people who are "different." and when they don't understand, sometimes they become scared. and without education, that sometimes turns to hate. this goes for people who are a different race, religion or culture as well. there's nothing wrong....it's simply how we're born.

of course not its just a part of your life also dont be afraid if the bible says it, remember that God will judge your whole life not only one aspect also remember that even Jesus said that there are million ways of making it to heaven, so dont worry people is afraid and judge it just beacause its different , we are humans and afraid of change and whatever goes different than our own lives , dont worry about it your real firends will accept you for who you are not for your sexual preference :)
