my northern american alligator lizards have mold in their cage should i clean it or leave it?

Remove it! It means something is rotting in there. Clean the cage regularly (at least weekly). You may need to find a way to ventilate a little better. While these guys need moisture, mold isn't good. Always remove the remains of food or waste promptly as these will grow mold cultures. clean it or you lizard might eat it or something dont want that to happen but mold does make a nice couch for it :)

CLEAN THE CAGE!!!!!!! Sounds like there is too much humidity in the cage. Find a way to vent it to let a little more air in.

Clean it stupid! You are supposed to be taking care of your pet's, why would you even ask that question?
