I am trying to find a cheap fish tank that is in houston tx. i have already tried E-bay. plaease help if you can.

Just a thought....this weekend you should go out and hit some garage sales and yard sales. You can go to some nice areas like Katy or Kingwood. Really, often you find things for practically nothing at these sales. If no luck, get out the yellow pages and start calling thrift stores and that will save you a lot of time and running around. I've seen fish aquariums at thrift stores on occasion. One last idea....the Greensheet is loaded with treasures!

I don't know the prices there but I know Wal Mart has 55 gallon tanks. The stand is about $75 and the tank is about $150 and that includes everything minus fish, decor and a under gravel filter if you chose to have one. It is by far the cheapest I have ever found for a brand new tank.
Sometimes Petco has sales on fish tank stands. I got mine for $50 for my 55 gallon tank, plus the bottom part of the stand can hold 2 10 gallon tanks.

which, while not updated regularly, can help you find some other people.
people sell complete systems very cheap all the time (although you may have to drive a little!)
i picked up a 55 w/stand for $50 and a 75 w/stand/canopy for $150 last week.

Check www.craigslist.com click on your area then click pets and general! You may find a freebee!
I got mine from walmart! It didnt come with a stand but its was about 75-100.00! It had all filters and everything!
