Is there a continuity in the Western way of thinking since Homer till present day including Bertrand Russell?

There is a continuity by way of thesis, antithesis and synthesis. Even these thought process of the present day rationalists, neo-rationalists, atheists and agnostics all of these reflect on the on-going continuity from the days of Homer till the days of recent thinkers like Russell and William James. It is like a continuous conversation between civilizations but it is confined to the Western thinking only. Until it joins the Indian thinking it will continue to be stuck at one point of no return. The curriculum of Truth is vast and expanse. Theoretical physics is exposing the gaping chasm between the West and India which has continued to lead the world in the field of spiritualism.
