No. I can't imagine losing TWO of my children. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't give them the pusnishment that they deserve.

No, I wouldn't "disown" him, but I'd be extremely hurt and disappointed. I'd probably feel very guilty and wonder where I went wrong for my own child to have turned on his own flesh and blood in such a cruel way.

Now, since you asked this in the LGBT catagory I can only assume you are attempting to correlate serial killers with gays/lesbians.
That's horrible of you!
They are NOT the same and should NOT elicite the same reaction from a parent.
Being gay is NOT a defect, is not harmful, is not a disease or a result from bad psychology or bad upbringing.
If my son was gay and sodomized his sybling I would still not 'disown' him, but I would certainly be very angry that my own child raped another of my children! Rape is not about sex at all.

His being gay would make no difference.

If my son was gay and had a loving, committed relationship with another man, was healthy, happy and safe, I would be just as delighted and happy for him as I am that my son is straight and has a loving relationship wth his girlfriend.

I've never quite understood the term 'disown', but I would certainly condemn and not associate with them. It has nothing to do with if the victim was my child, although that makes it worse- I want nothing to do with serial killers and murderers of that type. That they are my child doesn't matter; I do NOT believe in unconditional love. Love should be conditional- there are certain things that people can do that shouldn't be deserving of love. The thing you have to understand is what those things are (and I would never disown/condemn my child for a trivial matter. Murder, however, is not trivial).

That's just my opinion, though.

I would disown a child for being too stupid to figure out what section to put a question in.

No, obviously I would get Phsyciatric help for the serial killer and mourn the dead child. A mother's love is unconditional.
