I have never heard of anyone getting there hips pierced. So I don't know of an age limits. All I have to say is "Ouch." But i'm sure most likely the age is 18. If not older.

Just so everyone knows, you CAN get your hips pierced. And it is perfectly safe (as safe as any piercing that is).
I had a friend who got her hips pierced, and she had to be 18 years old.
So 18 years old in otherwords.

I didn't know they pierced hips!=) I think you have to be 16 with a parent to get your lip pierced, but it could be younger...just call a piercing place and ask.

why would you want to do that? (not condemning, just curious) I don't know how old you have to be....I'm guessing over the age of majority and you can get anything done....under the age of majority....do you think the piercer will care as long as the parent signs the waiver?
How many of you looked up pics of hip piercings after being shocked by this? lol I did, looks painful.

if so, my friend went with her mom and got her lip pierced on her 13th birthday. a little young in my opinion, but whatever floats her boat.

i say about 16-17m cause when your 18 you don't em lol but i think an age over 13 cause alot of people get em with out parents and are way youner then both of us
