I don't think his apology was sincere. The way he said certain things in his so-called apology gave me that impression. "Yeah I was doin' some "trash" talking." He didn't sound apologetic to me. He is a stand-up comedian he should know how to handle audience members by now. They were only talking. Who said people can't conversate during a comedy show? He was way out of line and he really doesn't feel sorry.

Oh, and Black Metal, those guys only said what they did after Richards was saying those nasty things to them and it wasn't even immediate. They tried to be the bigger men but Richards wouldn't shut up.

A) He didn't act like he didn't say it...he said he is sorry and he has a rage problem and needs help. It's pretty much agreed on that the only thing he did RIGHT was own up to it...

B) It wasn't Kramer. It was Michael Richards.

C) And it wasn't on TV, it was in a stand up comedy club and a women recorded it on a cell phone thing

D). None of this changes what happened but what Kramer said on TV is a bunch of stuff scripted by Jerry Seinfeld which won tons of awards...clearly not the same thing...

It would have been wrong somewhere else, but it was a comedy act. It's just that the black community is too sensitive. One white man uses the word n@*#er and everyone gets involved. I'm Mexican. I've heard non-Latino comedians use the word w@$back, beaner...etc. and we don't round the community and go after whoever said it. Asains and whites don't unite when they're made fun of. Sure, some get offended, but it's nothing. The African-American community needs to relax, take that fork out of their a@$, and lighten up...it's just a joke.

I was not quick to judge him as "wrong" because I had not seen it myself and did not want to get caught up in a media frenzy. I've seen it now, and what he said was AWFUL, truly HORRIBLE, and there SHOULD be a public outcry against it. He SHOULD apologize to the men in question for saying such vulgar things. And then shrink into obscurity.

It happened get over it. It was like a week ago. He appologized for his actions and IT WAS IN A COMEDY CLUB. Not to mention that what the guys that were screaming at him was totally wrong.

It is wrong. He has apologized but people are not so forgiving of this kind of statement. Hopefully, he has learned a valuable lesson and will lead a more positive life.

Well, of course it was wrong! Why it happened is a more interesting question. Was he on drugs? Was he frustrated from years of trying to make people laugh - unsuccessfully? Is he crazy in that he is unable to regulate his emotions? Is he paranoid and imagined they were mocking him?

if your gonna have hate - fine, keep it to yourself, or express in a situation where you can back it up with action - otherwise don't express it publicaly and then act like you did not mean to say it! thats my take on it - F*** Michael Richards aka Kramer !

A person who claims not to be a racist would NEVER said what he said. Nuff said.
