I try and figure out how the visual effects were made, also try predicting when something is about to happen. It makes you feel like you won when you get it right.

PS Guys do like scary movies with girls hanging on to them, so maybe you could get him back by asking for a chick flick later :-)

When you get to the movies take a deep breath. There is a slim chance that the movie you see will ever happen. It's all just imaginary and it is just for entertainment. I see scary movies with my boyfriend all the time and sometimes I get scared too. But sometimes he realizes I'm scared and all my fear goes away. If you really like this guy, you could tell him. And maybe he he'll hold your hand or something during the "scary" parts. When I get scared I gently grab his hand or lean on him and he loves it!It makes him feel strong knowing that you use him to hide your fear. This could bring you closer and let him know you are not perfect. Which will make him like you even more. The same thing happened to me and my boyfriend and I have been going out with him for six months now.Have fun at the movie!

I usually hide behind a pillow, or cover my eyes with my hands (and peek out anyway through my fingers). However, I think you should just watch a horror movie like the neophyte that you are, and grab your date during all the scary parts. I don't think he'll mind that at all! He'll probably think you're being cute.

Ummm, don't watch the parts that are scary to you...

And suggest another movie to watch... if you want to watch another one, then he might listen to what you want.
