It creeps up sometimes. Whether because you are truly lonesome, or just feel that way from time to time (especially during the holiday season).

Just do something that makes you feel part of something. Like volunteer for something that lets you interact with more people. Or take long bath with nice feel good music to relax your brain from wondering or worrying about things :-)

It is human nature to have feelings of all kinds. The holiday season can be busy and cause some depression brought on by stress. You will be fine--just stay busy doing something or visiting a friend.

Find something which will get you focus into doing a particular thing. This way you may forget all about feeling lonesome.

Look in the mirror and tell yourself that you complete yourself. You are beautiful, no matter what (cue Christina Aguilera's song). Do something you LOVE to do. Perhaps its chilling with friends? Perhaps drawing? Anything. Sometimes, just chatting with someone you trust but aren't that close to does the trick. Or find someone who feels the same way as you. And talk about it.

Ohhhhh! This may not be the best answer for everyone but I having a dog helps. A dog requires a lot of time but they are ALWAYS happy to see you ALWAYS up for any of your ideas for fun and the right dog will keep you warm when you are cold. Go to your local shelter and find the Right friend for you...

I hope you have a great Holiday. : )

Take time to appreciate the "little things" that makes you happy... it could be your beautiful room, your pet, watching your fave tv show, whatever! There are a lot of things to be happy about. Count your blessings!

Donot fret on somethings that you do not have. You have a life.... Enjoy it!

first, i like to take drugs, but not those kind, the kind the government gives you.

if that doesn't work, i follow it with heavy drinking

then i usually start e-mailing everyone and telling them exactly what is on my mind.

i usually follow up that with a call to the escort service

that's when i start taking the other kind of drugs

sure enough i wake up in february and the holiday season is over

Internet, play with my wii, read, play with my birds.....I bought them a small Christmas tree....

Going somewhere crowded does not work. I would join a group, any group....like red cross a womens support group...

If your a loner like me then get a pet... My birds are always up to something!!
