My wife and I are thinking of going to Napa in February for a weekend away from the kids. Is February still a nice time to go to Napa, or should we go some where else?

Depends what you are going for. If you are going for the food and wine February will certainly be less busy, you will have an easier time making reservations and the wineries will be less crowded (perhaps have some one on one time with the wine makers or other experts). If you going for nice weather...February isn't your best bet.

February is the rainy season. I would try mid spring or early summer. But since you and your wife are just trying to get away for the weekend, go for it! I'm sure you can find a nice bed and breakfast with a fireplace and for outings quick trips to wineries for wine tasting.

Enjoy the alone time. Your wife will love you for it.

I would do Napa in the spring since it can get rather chilly up north, but do it if you don't mind the cool weather.

Aside from it being the middle of the rainy season and kind of on the cool side, I believe the mustard festival starts at the end of January and runs through end of March.
