Animesuki has a list of torrents (you'll need bittorrent to use them which is also free) which are not yet licensed in the United States and subtitled by groups. Other than that there's irc (mirc is the best irc program and it's mostly free). Delta Anime is the only irc server I know of that has many channels with many bots for various subbed anime series. Limewire is also good for popular series. Although i'm not a huge fan of youtube you can watch anime clips there but I'm not sure if you can download them or not to make music videos. Remember to either follow the law or keep quiet about anything you download. the RIAA is after everyone. The internet freedom everyone knew and loved is gone so stay safe :P

if you want to make video clips then it is better to have raw videos without subtitles. You should go to http://www.tokyotosho.com . This website lists almost most of the anime raws that comes out. You'll find lot's of series. But they are seeded for 2 or 3 weeks. It is the time for a team to sub it depending on the rapidity of the team.

YouTube.com is good, but they are usually cut apart. I like AnimeUpload.com, but it is a DL site, so it could 1. take awhile to dl, and 2. will eat up space on your harddrive you dl -a lot-.
